I just got it for 13$ delivered on Ebay and it came yesterday! I was stoked. I played it before and stuck to the story and probably made it only an hour or two into it.. But this time I am exploring and it is deep! Anyone got any useful tips,linkeys or anything or a noob at this game? Also is the Knights of the Nine a worthwhile expansion? I didn't get the greatest hits one, but mine did come with the map, manual, case, and the disc was in great shape. So far I am addicted to this.

I have a 1TB WD Caviar Black drive as an external and I'm glad they put in the Seagate in mine.
My Caviar Black is fast, but it's a lot of clicking and seeking.
I also have a Caviar Green and a Caviar Blue, the green being my favorite as it's pretty silent.
I can't hear my Seagate drive at all even when transferring documents at full tilt.
I have to say, I'm used to SSDs but I think I'll be OK with this drive until Lion is released and hopeful the Intel SSD 320s drop in price and I get the nerve up to open this baby up and do some surgery... :rolleyes:

This is wierd
I came past 10 minutes ago and there were about 20 people outside maybe more
I went looking for breakfast, came back and now there's only 7 people between me and the front of the queue
(an some guy is scrubbing the pavement clean)
either they are batch processing the early arrivers OR there was a big fight and the guy is scrubbing away the blood

Interesting, very interesting! Let's hope they also will bring out a version for the G5's. Also the folding on GPU's is coming quite well. Let's hope our electric bills don't go up when you have a dual/quad folding and two X1900 in SLI mode! :D

My 23" has the pink tint and I have heard a few people say theirs doesn't, but every one I have seen in person (in 3 different stores) has the tint.

I need an ATI PCI Video card that'll work with my PowerMac G3 B&W. I'm currently using an old PCI card from my old PowerMac 9600 so if I could replace it in time for christmas (I'm giving the computer away as a gift to my Grandma) then that would be fantastic.

I drilled a hole for the reset/power button but havnt tried that.

Also if yall have trouble with software update I figured out how to get latest Firmware installed. I been meaning to post my success and just getting around to it hope it helps.
Install cydelete to get the older version un-installed from the icon. This helps if you have the Cydia glitch that wont allow you to scroll to "y" section or load the yosion source in Cydia.
After install cydelete and then hold on the icons for phone/mms delete them just like you would for a normal non cydia icon app make sure you respring.
1) make sure openssh and ifile are installed respring if need install then step2.
2) on your PC, download WinSCP (windows) here

you can also use Cyberduck (windows/mac) i used winscp
3) connect your ipod touch to your computer. if itunes automatically loads, close that down.
4) start WinSCP.
use the following details to log in to WinSCP
server: Your_IP_address

I honestly don't remember what website this popped up on, but Safari started downloading this MacSecurity.mpkg and it ran instantly and bypassed inputting my password? I couldn't really stop it
has anyone gotten this before? it took me to some webpage but I closed it
It said something about me being infected?
Am I going crazy? I didn't click anything(maybe by accident?) and yet this thing popped up, gave me a file and ran the installer without me being able to stop it lol wtf

I've been a PC user all my life...until yesterday. I just bought my first Mac. Now I want to know if there is any way that I can move my iTunes library from my PC to my PowerBook without having to rip all of my cds again.
I moved the actual song files onto my iPod in hard drive mode and then copied them to my PowerBook, but now my PowerBook will not let me import those songs into iTunes.
Suggestions? Am I SOL?
You need to use the add to library option rather than import.

Looks like there are many MacBooks as well as MacBoko Pro's on sale in the Apple Refurb shop. I'm not saying its proof we're getting new laptops today, but if you're looking to save a bundle and don't mind "previous gen" hardware it looks like a pretty good deal. :)

Ok my mom just got a cable modem today. I have dsl at my house so I'm not sure if i'm doing everything right. The problem is, the airport is not getting an ip address from the modem. I just un-pluged everything for 8min and still nothing(This is applecare said to do.) The modem works fine when hooked up to a computer direct. Anyone have any hints at all. This is really getting to me. Shes running 10.2.6 and all the newest versions of airport/basestation etc.

I would make sure that you do not allocate more than one virtual CPU and 2Gb RAM to see if that helps.
Usually with virtualization on PC/Mac, the bottleneck is usually the disk system. Make sure that the disk is performing well in OS X without running Parallels.

I have the A Jays Four and am not impressed. Muddy sound. Suggest taking a peek at head-fi.org forums. Those boys will set you straight. I suspect they would side with the UE models.
