your probably right,
i love bf online tho
BF1942 still has pretty good sp bots, esp for the mods like BG42, FinnWars, DCxx, FH, SilentHereos, etc.. I'd deffinetly say go with BF1942 and there are a load of quality mods to expand the gameplay with (as there are on ut2004 but i prefer BF). I get so bored very easily with UT2004, though there where one or two mods that i liked for this, like Domain, Red Orchestra and Killing Floor...
But BF1942 gets my vote :)

Find a ton of front screen protectors. I just want a good cheap clear skin for the back only. Been rocking a Speck case pretty much from day 1 but really love the form factor of the iPod touch 4. Shame to keep the beauty of the design hidden.
Any good cheap choices for just the back?
I got this (http://www.amazon.com/ZAGG-invisibleSHIELD-Apple-Maximum-Coverage/dp/B00433SOG2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1302644183&sr=8-1) and like it a lot. Next best thing to using it naked!

The year 2012 will probably show vast improvement in ebooks with all the new hardware being developed.

Well, I'm a good way into Episode 1, and I am actually really enjoying it. :)
Once you get past the control scheme (point'n'click would have worked much better!), there's actually a real Monkey Island game to be enjoyed here. The humor isn't as obnoxious as I had feared from the demo, it's actually really fun!

You could alternatively hook the Mini up to your TV and use it as a HTPC.

You need a 2.5" IDE hard drive enclosure or 2.5" to 3.5" IDE adapter.

I had always thought that it was famously part of the Apple 1.

I have an iBook and my Combo drive would just beep at me and not open instead of clicking, but whatever it's doing, it shouldn't be. As suggested before, I would take it to a Genius at an Apple Store. Since it's new, you can send it in for free and get a new drive. That would be the best option.

Hello!
I bought a MacBook Pro on the 26th of February, and iWork along with it. So today when I was filling out the rebate form for iWork, I noticed that it asks for the UPC codes on the computer and the iWork, along with the receipt.
Well, that had me worried. If I sent in my receipt, and both of the UPC codes... I would have no way of proving that I bought this product, if any problems ever occur! Is this how it is supposed to be or am I missing something here?
Thanks!
I cut out both of the UPC codes on my MBP and iWork boxes. The Apple paperwork I got said you had to send in the UPC codes and original receipt. What I did was make a copy of my original receipt and sent that in. I got my rebate check without a problem. As long as you have a copy of your receipt you should not have a problem.

Here is my 5th Gen iPod with Video. Screen is clouded up because I dropped it on some granite tile from about waist high. It still works, just can't see the entire screen.

On the h3 tag, class="other" should be class="mac" :) - but maybe this is intentional?

Hi, I've installed the Lion Developers Preview, all legit. It's working great and everything. But what happens when the grand master comes out? Can I install it over my existing Lion partition or do I have to delete both my Snow Leopard partition and my Lion preview one and do a clean install?
Cheers :) x
You will need to do a clean install. No upgrades from Lion DP2 to the final release.

We can edit them once they are approved, so yes we can add comments after the fact. This is not encouraged though, as it can be a bit of work if the song was submitted some time ago. The way the database works is by the most recent submission, so if your song was submitted 2 weeks ago it'll take a while to find it. ;)

To answer the thread title Yes.
If you are successful your resume will be passed through to the managers at the store/stores you applied for and you will be invited to an invitation only Recruitment Seminar, good luck. ;)
O_o so the managers also have the power to send you to a seminar?
I thought the managers would call for an interview.
Thanks =)

I guess it all depends on several factors:
1. What purpose do you have for external drives? Time Machine? Video editing?
2. Do you need it today? If so, eSATA is your only real choice until more Thunderbolt drives come to market.
3. How many drives do you need to attach externally? eSATA is one drive per connector. Thunderbolt allows for daisy-chaining drives.
4. Are you filthy rich? The first-generation Thunderbolt drives are gonna be very expensive.

I would imagine Parallels would be up to the things you list. Much easier to use, and saves you having to restart your Mac.

Not sure what to do. -help?
Why not print on a larger sheet, include bleeds and trim it down?
Then your nearly borderless presentation will be truly borderless.
Those uneven borders can be so vexing.

those are the same until you get to the 40GB 4G. I believe that one gets thicker. Not sure about the 30 GB
