Hi all
I've been on 4.0 for a while now (which I had jailbroken with jailbreakme). But lately I've been getting a message like 'you need 4.1 or higher to install this app'.
So I think it's about time to upgrade.
Now, I don't know much about all the jailbreaking stuff, that's why I loved jailbreakme, one click and it was done.
So my question to you is, to which version should I update and what should I use to jailbreak it?
It would be nice if I could keep all the apps + the fact that it would be a jailbreak which stays when I shutdown and restart my iPod.

I would like to see the start up time (not that it matters that much, honestly, but it's always interesting) Also, it would be cool if you could do some performance tests with Xcode and Photoshop.

I have never heard this brought up when a Nuclear reactor disaster happens, so I will ask it here. With the fear of radiation spreading due to a failed reactor, wouldn't animals spread the radiation? It's kind of hard to keep birds out of the area, especially near old disasters like 3 mile island and Chernobyl. Not to mention deer, foxes, game birds and other smaller animals like rodents and insects. Seems to me then these animals could come in contact with human populations or even be eaten by us and thus spreading the radiation to more populated areas.
Any thoughts?

iMac all the way. The mac mini needs a desperate cpu update- still on core 2 duo. The iMac is awesome. I have the 21.5 inch 3.06 core 2 duo from Oct' 2009- it works excellent, never had an issue. You also get more for your money with the iMac than a mac mini or a macbook pro. An iMac should last you a good 5 years (at least).
If I were you I would wait a few weeks as the iMac will be updated by the end of this month/ early May- something to keep in mind so you don't end up with buyers remorse.

so i have a 4 g ipod mini and it broke so i took it back to the apple store, where they ran there tests and said yeah we need to replace this...i then countered with well id like to get the 60 gig can i just pay a difference...which they said no..(im still not understanding this) the only advice they could offer me is to sell the new one.....is there anyway around this...anyone i can talk to ...

If Apple made a touch screen nano the size of the iPod fatty, then I'd be in heaven. While cool and neat to play with, the 6th gen is a smidge small to operate with a touchscreen.

It's one of the coolest site I've ever seen. Nevertheless the navigation part is not so practical. I wonder how it would be with the pen-based mouse. Anyway, it's Leo Burnet's.

I just bought a pair on ebay but they do not power up. I was going to try and get my money back but I could sell them to you. The speakers look perfect in them. I am not sure why they do not power up.
