Wish I could get my taxes done, worked 3 jobs last year and only got my W2 for one of them :( didnt make much though...probably about 4k so maybe a $200 refund if that. Anyone have a guess? I always mark no dependencies or whatever so they take all the taxes out.

Aren't we quickly getting to the point where it's all about the software?
Ok, so we know iPhone 5 will get dual core A5....big deal. It'll be nice to have the extra power, but the iPhone 4 now is no slouch.
Added RAM.....yeah, that would be nice....but not going to suddenly sell more phones because it has more RAM :p
Display won't get any better resolution-wise. Doubt they'd go with a larger screen either.
Better cameras....ok.....still, the iPhone 4 cameras are no slouch, and it's not like it will reach the quality of a nice DSLR with those tiny sensors.
Better graphics processing.....sure.....but it's not like it has to drive a 9.7" screen like the iPad.
I'd say Apple is smartly switching into software mode. Kick ass with iOS5, revamp notifications, make some much needed overhauls to the system, and optimize performance for todays devices (iPhone 4, iPad & iPad 2).
Apple is going to stay ahead with software. That's the way Apple is and always has been.

this white phone delay seems rather odd.
hopefully those who wanted the color will now finally be able to get one.
you guys do realize that with this product release the wait for the iphone 5 will be a long time from now? people that do have iphones or smartphones can wait. but people with phones that can only make calls and texts and batterys that last for 3 hours. will deffiantly jump on this iphone due to the fact it is "new" i for one will be buying this on verizon on a upgrade plan the day it comes out.

I don't really think the kid is rolling with a credit card of his own at 11 years of age. So maybe the mother should think about setting up a iTunes account for her son with a apple gift card or pre-pay visa. That way he can't run wild like Hulkamania with her credit card.... A receptor near the part of your brain that controls movement picks up where you want something to go (like a mouse pointer) Currently however there is a little disadvantage, because you need a pin through your skull to pick up the signals accuratly enough. However, there have been experiments with "stickers" on your skull, but this is less accuratly. Still, it should be well enough for an iPod Shuffle interface. And if they incorporate this in headphones, it should be possible.

This news will hopefully inspire Apple to make the next generation iPods even more amazing. However, I don't see MS as the biggest threat to the iPod. I am much more concerned about mp3 cellphones with 4Gb flash (see e.g. SonyEricsson).
Apple needs come up with a revolutionary device that integrates an iPod with a cellphone and possibly even a GPS, in order to keep their mp3 marketshare.
And when MRAM comes to the market - I hope Apple gets that first, it'll mean a HUGE advantage for whomever.

It's still only going to be an iPhone 4 at best like the 3GS was a bumped buy me again iPhone 3G! People are expecting loads of hardware bumps and a redesign like the iPhone 4 we won't see it!
The 3GS was quite a bump from the 3G. Anyone thinking/claiming otherwise has never owned a 3GS.
An iPhone "4S" would still be quite an upgrade over the iPhone 4, even if it is just more ram and an A5 chip (with a much better SGX543-MP2 GPU). And it would still very much be the iPhone 5 as in 5th Generation iPhone. Just like the iPhone 3GS was the 3rd generation iPhone to the iPhone 3G's 2nd generation status.

After my Panasonic 32" HDTV bit the dust after only 13 months (1 year warranty, of course!), I got this 42" Vizio 1080P 120 MHZ to replace it. Panasonic, I hate you!
Also got a PS3 Slim recently when my old fatty died. It's in the upper left adjacent to the 360, but you can't really see in photo because I am no photographer. :o
Due to my bad luck with electronics of late, I went against my previous convictions, and got extended warranties this time. :rolleyes:
For those considering this TV model, I'm extremely satisfied with the picture quality.

Edit: I just got a chance to look at the upgrades and I'm very excited. For a similar spec in the 17", the C2D is $400 cheaper than its Yonah counterpart would have been. Makes me wish I didn't have to wait until the spring to buy!

It's kind of sickening how her privacy is just thrown out of the window, the employee was fired for many many reasons, including the fact that they posted the video on youtube, linked it to their facebook and made many offensive comments before it was all taken down. Had this video not been made public the girl in question would have had some hope in retaining her privacy, but now she's scared to go outside for fear of being recognised and attacked again, possibly killed. In the United states a transgender person is murdered on average once a month, despite being a small and often invisible minority.
It really sickens me how badly handled this story has been by many, the baltimoresun being one of the few exceptions, fox news (http://nation.foxnews.com/culture/2011/04/22/smoking-gun-woman-beat-mcdonald-s-was-male-cross-dresser) being one of the worst. They should be ashamed of themselves.
