I've always questioned market share figures.
It would be much more accurate to post comparative sales from THIS YEAR
as opposed to overall sales from the past combined.
Market share IS based on the current sales! It has nothing to do with how many people are actually using Macs vs PCs from long past purchases.
It is based soley on the current sales figures for Apple sales vs total computer sales.

i did only want to point out a tiny thing and that was , only because it is stated in the bible that its alright to rape a women if you marry her after and pay her father some money it might still be against the law in some countries
it might be part of the culture and religious believe of some christians , but in the UK and some other countries it is still against the law ..and most accept that law..
and if muslims have read the bible , i guess i know why they want to protect their women
we should make them understand that most of us do not live according the bible even if we are christians
and some christians should read the qu'ran too
same for the other religions out there , and then whoever reads what should get told how that is handled in reality ,that would i guess make life a bit easier among us humans

earlier, i commented on a post, which showed Amazon shipping the new ipod shuffle on the 11th of october... and well, since that is today, i checked back on amazon's site and this is what i found.... :(

That would be my guesses. You think your upset, I bet Steve Jobs is pissed as hell. It makes me wonder if there are better ways to do this if you don't want to pay for all the hardware needed to support 100 million views in the first 24 hours... Something like a queueing system that requires you to click on something when it is ready to serve you video. What must be killing them is all the people reloading and re-requesting the video.
Let me tell a better way to do this:
LET PEOPLE DOWNLOAD A KEYNOTE!
That way:
1) I wont re-re-request a movie just to view once (or anymore time I want)
2) I'll distribute the video through other sources and servers (or by hand-to-hand)

I believe Apple does this on purpose. I remember when I had the 3G and "updated" it with the latest iOS and it turned it into a clunker. Apple didn't care and they didn't give people the option to downgrade the "upgrade". Apple we love your products, but please understand that we are hip to your tricks now. Geez. :cool:
Don't really know what you're talking about, but you can put any iOS version you want on your phone if you know how to use itunes correctly...

I think Apple wanted to avoid people dying of heatstroke waiting in the sun so they where going to release it in the winter. But they didn't think it would be good to see their customers giving them frozen bills. LOL

I had to turn off my SB box for the week since I'm away from home on business, so that's probably another reason it dropped. This will probably be happening more often now, unfortunately for folding (but fortunately for me because I love my job).

Collingwood over Anderson - A good choice guys? I think so. Anderson was has too little to offer the attack if his bowling doesn't go well. An all rounder was a good choice and Collingwood has already beaten the Aussies before, this summer.

I ended up buying an iPhone 4 ten days ago because my 3G s died (I really was hoping that my 3G s would have lasted until the iPhone 5). With this news I might look into the possibility of 'sidegrading' to the white iPhone 4.
I'm still within the 30 day return policy with Apple-I just need to see if AT&T will penalize me.

Price is now confirmed at $150 for Kinect + Kinect Adventures. Also confirmed is a new 4GB Arcade 360, based on the slim design, retailing in a bundle with Kinect for $299 (or $199 for the 360 by itself), giving a $50 discount on the total cost.
My thoughts? Too expensive to bother with! Kinect costs nearly as much as a console itself, which is far more complex.

Apple really need to add better dual screen support. Mac OS is used by many creative professionals, many of which would have high-end set ups with two or more screens.
In my case, I have a second screen on my iMac, but I do use it for a lot of creative work.
What they need to do is extend the menubar onto the second screen, and allow the option to have the "main" part of it, being the one with the App's menu items appear on the screen that the app is active on.
Also support for the dock to appear on a different screen to the menubar.
It would be very handy to have the menu items on one screen, and my menu icons and time (spotlight, bluetooth, time machine, etc.) on the other.

I checked my Firmware version and it matches MB51.007D.B03 (I have a late 08 unibody).
Was able to get 8 GB Crucial mem for a good price so I'll try it and post my findings.

In a number of the seminar descriptions, they speak about the "awesome power" of the "Power Mac G5 Quad" (which is true), and they keep calling it "new" on more than one occasion (it's close to a year old now).
I know what you are talking about. That video has been around since the Quad came out, they'll take it off once it's replacement comes. They aren't going to re-shoot the seminar videos and say the "1 year old Quad" or change the description. In the next few weeks, pending a Mac Pro release, we will see some new seminar descriptions talking about our Quad Intel Mac Pro's.

love the design, the size is great for jogging! i wish it was rain proof, but maybe somebody will design some kind of rain proof casing. a tiny mic+software would be nice for dictation too. :)
i worry alot about people stealing my ipod, but a small device like this at its price would overcome that.:cool:
