Most of the info I have read pertaining to BF 1942 says that it does not run well on Intel architecture. So much so that I canceled my order for it from Apple. I haven't read much about UT 2004 though.

Since I read many posts on problems with the invidiual updates through OS's software update featrue, I would like to post this question. If you update the OS X (10.3.X) through one update increment (like, from 10.3.7 to 10.3.8) and then do a combo update by visiting Apple's website, does the combo update over-write the previous updates which were done one update at a time?

Steve Rosenbaum needs to learn how to use spell/grammar check. I've come to expect "loose" instead of "lose" and other spelling/grammar errors in forums, but this is an article on the Huffington Post. I got a little more than halfway through before I had to close the tab.
My personal favourite was the following opening few words to a paragraph, "google tv apple Apple wins on look and feel..."
Is it the iPhone auto-correct? And :apple:TV logo for the Apple logo?

If you don't have any Apple Stores located nearby, your only option would be to send the phone by mail to European Apple support for an exchange.
You will be phoneless for a couple of days waiting for a refurbished unit, though.
If I were you, I would just continue to using your phone as is, since it seems to be working just fine. If you're concerned about looks, you could get a case or try buying a back glass replacement from a website.

The PowerBooks span between their own inbuilt screen and a second (external) screen.
I can't imagine it'd be all that possible/easy to span between two external screens with a PowerBook though. :)
Nice. So all I need is one external monitor.
Sorry if this is an obivous question, but why is it hard to span between two externals with a Powerbook?

Did you get paid for that? I would hope so..
Why do people need to get paid to make something beautiful?
Sure it's ideal that one gets paid for everything, but money should not be ones only motivation to innovate and create.

QC is amazing. I've used it for a few years with software called VDMX to do live audio-reactive visuals. It's included in the dev tools with XCode - http://developer.apple.com
Enjoy!
Also check out kineme.net for an active QC community :)

How exactly are they stiffing you? 1 year ago, you agreed to a 2 year contract in return for a subsidized iPhone. You are less than half way into that contract and you want another subsidized iPhone? Where exactly does that compute as "stiffing".
Last time I looked, both Apple and AT&T were in business to make money.
You pay an extra $200 with a new 2 year contract
$299.00 — 8GB iPhone 3G (black)
$399.00 — 16GB iPhone 3G S (black or white)
$499.00 — 32GB iPhone 3G S (black or white)
The prices you stated are no-contract prices.

I'm really particular about junk files on my system, so when I decided to remove Safari, I ran a search for "safari" on EasyFind and these turned up. Some of these files and folders are stored deep within the hard drive, with really intimidating names (such as Safari.syncschema and Safari.framework). Just wondering though, if they are safe for removal.

It's the Bose Sound Dock. Not sure if it's because I updated my iPhone 4 to 4.3.2.

You cannot play BF2 on the GMA950 because it requires hardware transform and lighting, which the GMA950 doesn't have. Sorry.

A week old thread isn't considered "dead" yet, right? ;-)
Here's my bedroom... I'm in the middle of doing a lot of redecorating around the house right now, so it's still a bit bare. I'm waiting until after I re-paint to add a few things... (probably some decorations on the dresser and a table lamp next to the bed) but I'm quite happy with how it's turning out!

OK, thanks. I might give it a try on my testing server to see if it really will fix the issues.

Don't think too much into it. You won't be disappointed when you're wrong...
No iPod cameras.
No Air updates.
No MacBook/Pro until Montevina
I'd like Cinema Displays with iSight and HDCP, but...
