Why isit that you will skip vga?
VGA is outdated, and DVI/HDMI are better equipped to handle higher resolutions. VGA is an analog signal. HDMI is a digital signal. There is much greater risk for signal degradation, particularly with a long cable, with VGA than HDMI.

I'm running an iBook G4 with the most recent version of leopard. I tried to calibrate the color profile and I messed it up. Now there is far to much contrast and the colors are off.
However I have noticed that when it is in the installing updates screen before it restarts the color is back to normal.
No matter what I do I can't get the default color profile that I'm seeing on the installing updates screen to activate. Any suggestions?

If you're in a dorm for the love of Jobs don't get a Mini. If you live with the parentals or with only yourself, the Mini is great if you already plan on having an iPad.
Though, since you don't have a screen, keyboard, or mouse, it may be better to just fork over the extra cash for an iMac.

Yes, preferably you'd have better protection before someone enters your home. But like car alarms, a Kensington Lock can be used as a deterrent (it'll take at least a few minutes to get it off without a key/combination). If force is used, it'll obviously damage the security slot.

Nothing you can do about it.
You can use a tag you don't otherwise use (e.g. BPM) and display and sort on that.
(EDIT: Personally, I sort on Data Added when viewing the library).

There is TuneIn Radio on the App Store for $1.99
It has over thousands of FM and AM radio stations all over the world.
Doesnt it take wifi?

Seems like it's just invisible updates (ie. behind the scenes bugfixes). I don't see any new features.
Think happy thoughts 1.05 GB of bug fixes :D

Well, that'd definitely be hard to put a price on...
Seeing the prices of current iPods,
Nano- $149
Classic-$249
It'd have to be somewhere in between there, but I'm not sure anyone would find that to be a good deal.

You could try the one here: http://hpc.sourceforge.net/
Then get anything else you need via MacPorts.

That's strange, the console version should be a bit faster then the gui version. Especially on older/slower machines. All of the cpu power goes to crunching the WU, there isn't a bit that helps the graphics card making the picture, so the console version should be faster.
I see where you're coming from but the gui client only has a gui if you tell it to display the protein. it defaults to not showing so there is nothing to use system resources.
I have folded 8 large units on my G4 500 and all of them got 10% or so in the time it took the terminal client to get about 1-2%. using the gui client I had it set to accept the proteins above 5mb. it always took about 8-10 days to do 1 wu and I would get about 250+ points for each so they were large.

Howdy Folks.
Would it be easier to bypass the router and just plug cable direct to Xbox?
Try this first.
Why are you trying to use the router at all? It can be done, but it will complicate things a bit.

Hi!
I am creting a Webappication which is able to throw out the content in different DOCTYPES.
Whe unsing the HTML-Template, the rendered Menu is just some purple blocks. When using the XHTML-Template, the buttons are very fine. The generated page looks great with any template in any other browser (KHTML, Safari, Geck, IE 5.0 - 7beta, iCab...)
The last and only Problem is the purple blocks in the menu. Maybe anyone here has had a similar problem??
The Menu is created with the following code (abridged):
HTML:
<td class='menuitem'><a class='menuitem'><img ...></a></td>
CSS:
td.menuitem
{
And the Ugly Duckling Sydrome
Golden Globes Hair: Separated

I agree with you. I liked how I could look back and see where i've been. I think like antennagate, the issue was overblown.

Before I was even to the part where you praised the clip, I was navigating towards the post button to say that the clip is hideous and shouldn't be on there, lol.

Thanks Blue Velvet that's the sort of thin I was looking for. I have found a foundry called Parachute (http://www.paratype.com) who specialise in multilingual fonts.
No worries. Quite like the slab serif on the Caption version of PT Serif in your link. Good luck with your project. :)

Here is an overview of 20 Javascript visualization libraries...
http://sixrevisions.com/javascript/20-fresh-javascript-data-visualization-libraries/
I have heard good things about Protovis (listed on that site).
Also take a look at: http://mbostock.github.com/d3/
you mention silverlight (which I don't work in) so it seems that something plug-in based is not out of the question. The Flex charting components are very popular, have been around for a long time, and are easy to work with as well if you don't want to have to learn a JS library.

I personally don't see why not. People put links to their websites, mostly blogs and such, and some list Apps they have developed and sell, so I can't see how this is any different than a developer advertising their apps. However, since I am not a mod, I can only hope one answers your thread prior to your listing expiring.
And I would format it so that it isn't vague at all.
Such as -> Mac Pro Nvidia xx60HD graphics card for sale: Ebay listing.
Then just hotlink the words - Ebay listing.
