Seriously, order the Grip Vue (Tint) from Belkin.com. I love this case.
It's a bit pricey right now. If I bought now, I'd have spent over $50 in cases for this ipod. Waiting for it to go on sale on amazon or somewhere. Maybe put it on my christmas list.

I am thinking of ordering the lacie slim dvd burner
http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?pid=10186
I know it isn't as fast as a desktop model, but I want to be able to take it with me, and I know my next mac will have a superdrive, so I wouldnt need an external burner. Right now I am using the superdrive on my G4 powermac. I am curious as to how much slower or faster the lacie slim is?
Advice is appreciated!

We already have outright handsets here in Australia...try buying one here (perhaps off eBay), but make sure it's unlocked (not locked to any network). Not 100% sure if an Australian iPhone would work in the States, though I can't see why it wouldn't.

1. Open Disk Utility
2. Select your hard drive from the left-hand-side column (NOTE: It's not the Macintosh HD but the one above it)
3. Click the Partition tab
4. Click the + icon
5. Give a name to the new partition
6. Use Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as format
7. Define its size
8. Click Apply
Then open the Lion disk image and start installing it to the new partition you just created. No data should be erased.

WD Green drives don't raid correctly due to the power saving features. Go for either scorpio blue or the black label drives.

I would want to see the "PowerMac" camelcase form be avoided. Apple do seem to avoid this in external docs, and when they use it internally its meaning seems to have settled on any PPC desktop Mac, including iMacs. For that generic case, "PowerPC Mac" or similar should get the point across to normal people.
It would be nice to leave revision letters and code names out of "real" article titles too. (redirects with models' pet names, e.g. Yikes, to make linking from forums more convenient would be another story -- and of course mentioning them inside the pages would be fine!).
The reason I'm proposing this particular scheme is that many users of this resource will be here because they have problems that need solving. It will make life easier for them if we're on the same page as Apple.
----
Anyway, a scheme that would make sense to me is:
Power Mac == the generic term, anything that was originally sold as a "Power Macintosh" or "Power Mac"
iMac, PowerBook, etc. == those product lines.
PowerPC Mac == any Mac with a PowerPC inside.
Individual Power Mac product lines get the names they had when sold as new: Power Macintosh G3 (and older), Power Mac G4 (and newer).
Specific models get their public names, in the style used by Apple in AppleSpec (http://www.info.apple.com/support/applespec.html) and on their support pages. (True, we won't always know what those titles will be until after support docs start trickling out, but those will always be the latest models so the number of links to be touched up later will be smallish.)

I have dealt with forms in Word for decades. I have never had a special issue with editable text in a form. However, some forms are setup with mostly non-editable text. However, your non-selectable text was created by you. It might be helpful to post a copy of the document or another that exhibits the problem so that we can examine it.
Certainly great idea.
So my problem again is that text WITHIN the form (Which I added some lorem ipsum to) I can't select individual sentences to copy/paste/edit etc. It chooses huge swaths of text or the whole form instead. This happened both in Mac Office 2008 and Win Office 2007.

Remember when iOS 4.0 pissed of some iPhone 3G's owners cuz of battery life and bad performance? Steve Jobs already promised that iOS 4.1 will fix it but it didn't please all users so here comes iOS 4.2. Guys over TiPb ran a performance test on iPhone 3G running iOS 4.2.

So one shop prices them as a placeholder for $69.99/$59.99 and you think that will be gospel? Why not try looking around more, Amazon has 3DS games for pre-order starting at $34.99, with $39.99 being the highest priced.
This seems more like you trying to dig up hits on your blog than anything else, 1 shop over pricing their items is not any basis of fact for product pricing/MSRP.

The optimum configuration is A:4,4,0,0 B:2,2,1,1 as this places more equal amounts of memory on each riser.
Thank you Umbongo! That worked like a charm! Much appreciated!

You can find the security slot on the back of the iMac.
Kensington (http://eu.kensington.com/kensington/en/gb/sel/334/laptop+locks.aspx) makes many of the locks, they can be found online for significantly cheaper than what the Apple Store or regular retail places will carry them for. Most are priced between 25-40.
This one (http://eu.kensington.com/kensington/en/gb/p/1174/K64615EU/desktop++peripherals+locking+kit.aspx) is intended for desktop use and can also lock peripherals.

Hey Kumi, I panicked too the first time I saw that feature (which has both the ability to be extremely useful or terribly damaging haha).
The solution is quite simple really, you just have to scroll to the top of the contact's conversation from which you want to delete the pics, choose 'Edit', and then 'Clear All'. This will delete ALL your conversation history with that contact from the WhatsApp servers, so if there's any special memento (ahem...) you wish to save, make sure to email yourself the chat history first (Settings -> Email chat history).
Hope this info helps!

Would you be willing to part out just the mini?
I would consider it, for pick-up only. At this time, I'm not interested in shipping it. Thanks.
