As strange as it may sound people very rarely even think about Jews in the west, let alone waste their time on hating them.
Sorry sir, you are wrong. The 2009 Anti Defamation League Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents, published Tuesday, counted a total of 1,211 incidents of vandalism, harassment and physical assaults against Jewish individuals, property, and community institutions across the U.S.
The Anti Defamation League Audit identified 29 physical assaults on Jewish individuals, 760 incidents of anti-Semitic harassment and threats, and 422 cases of anti-Semitic vandalism during the 2009 calendar year.

Am I the only one that wants iWork 07'? My trial ran out on 06 and I need it for school, but don't want to get 06 and have 07 come out a few days later.
You could try Openoffice.org for Mac. It's basically very like Microsoft Office only Openoffice.org is free.

Oh Gosh is this guy our version of the Dell Dude.
No. Steve Jobs has consistantly talked about the Mac Culture having class. The Windows culture doesn't. The ad about the Mac home video illustrates this point, with Gisele. That Dell has some random pothead trying to sound hip and the Get a Mac ads have Justin Long, a successful actor and purported teenage-heart-throb, further illustrates this point. This is the same reason Apple spend $4M on the 1984 ad and had Jeff Goldblum and Richard Dryfus narrate their TV ads while PC ads usually have spinning text and always end with the Intel doorbell.

Tait strikes!
I still think we was a waste in the team and MacGill would have been better used. But he's done well.
Okay, one of the Aussie commentators here has just stated "Australia should win this match". Hmm... tough call.
Back to Channel 4 broadcast....... (for those who didn't know and cared, in Australia we get the Channel 4 broadcast but then Aussie players Dean Jones and Greg Matthews in a studio during the breaks)

I agree. Nike shoes are the least of our worries when it comes to tracking.
As you said above, someone could simply watch you go by. Since cameras can now transmit their images to facial recognition software, that process could be automated as well.
And when we're calling 911 from our cell phones or trying to find our lost dog with the implanted chip or our car with the LoJack, we're glad that all of these tracking systems are in place.

so tempting to buy an ADC membership. Before you do, keep in mind that the OS is pretty buggy at this point, and while you'll get a peek at a number of new things, you need to be prepared to wipe the whole drive/partition and reinstall relatively frequently, so the membership is pretty steep if all you want is a look.
Of course, you do get Leopard included in the price (when it's released), OS X Server, and some other goodies, but if you just want a sneak peek, you're better off waiting for the release.

Wow, I love Rogue. I don't think I have had one from them I didn't like. I'm also a fan of New Belgium. Normally, I'm a stout and porter kind of guy, but sometimes it's good to enjoy a good Rogue Dead Guy or Fat Tire.
I really hate my state's stupid beer laws. The cap on beer is 5%, which cuts out a lot of great beers. Thankfully, I have friends and relatives in other states where I can get said beers. :)
What good is a state where you cant crack open an Old English for your dead homies? sad very sad

Cingular is awesome. I get service everywhere.
Cingular sucks. They were better when they were Pacific Bell here in southern California. After that their service just dropped exponentially in quality.
I hate them, I could not get service at my house and at my office. Forget it man. I don't want ever be their customer again.

I like the part of the law that gives fines, and I think jail time to anyone forcing a woman to wear one, but if someone actually wants to wear a veil they should be allowed to do it.

I suppose the "True Video" iPod will be released at a special event along side the iPhone and PowerBook G5? :p
(Well, two out of the three would be nice.)
One more thing: Jobs presents Duke Nukem Forever! :D

Did you have any problems with the time not being visible or any other "side effects". I remember downloading and trying this with Nocturne but it wasn't as easy or effective as I had hoped. Was it easy? Anyone else have experience with Nocturne?
1. I love this. Do you have the original?
2. What font is your geektool (network) data?
Here (http://www.sdays.kr/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/ThinkDifferent.jpg)'s the wallpaper I just center it and use black to fill in the rest and the font is Consolas.

Still a few differences. Have to factor in more things.
Mac Pro two network cards.
No bluetooth on Dell Precision T3500?
You can add these and still save over 1000$ over a Mac Pro.
Seems the Dell Precision T3500 power supply is 525 watts where the Mac Pro
is 980Watts. As far as I could find.
But you can't even run two higher-end GPUs in the Mac Pro  It doesn't really matter how big the PSU is when you can't use its power. It's not like the 525W isn't capable of running the Dell T3500.
Have to factor in Heavy duty aluminum case vs thin sheet metal & plastic. Mac Pro cases are not cheap.
And the Dell would still end up being around 1000$ cheaper.

pain is just an illusion
A famous faith-healer from Deal
Said "Although pain isn't real
if I sit on a pin
and it punctures my skin,
I dislike what I fancy I feel"

I don't know how or when it will happen but I long for a day when people themselves outgrow religion. Not governments banning it, but people learning their way past it. I know this idea may be upsetting to some but it will happen eventually and the stubborn clingers on will only look crazy. Sorry to say that many already do.
I agree (with the rest of your post too) except I think France is doing this the wrong way. A hardline rule is just going to make people entrenched and create pockets of extremism (like the Amish in the US).
My ideal solution would be outreach to Muslim women (or really any women that are more susceptible to brutish practices) to help them find their own path to the modern world.

I installed this the first day it was out and have seen no problems. I seem to be running around 3 degrees celsius cooler, and openoffice (uses x11) is working properly again.

So you're saying Apple has done something non-dastardly for a change? Wow.
Let's hope they even lifted the "No 64-bit Windows in bootcamp" limitation they heinously manufactured in certain non-pro MacBooks, like my Late '08 2.4 Unibody that runs 64bit Mac OS X and Ubuntu without a problem.
(One product cycle later they add "Pro" and a FW port to what is essentially the same machine and MAGICALLY bootcamp will install 64bit drivers for Win7.)
