Install it, then look up on the menu bar ...
Set your preferences, i.e., start on login etc., or make a set of settings with different fan speeds.

I hope ya still had your iPod up and running.
Even though my new job will be in a bunch of Hospitals, I hate'em.
My wife has a standing order that I am not allowed to die in a hospital, she is to kick everyone in the groin if needed so she can wheel me outside, I don't care if it is a blizzard, hurricane, or smog day, I do not want to die in a hospital!!!!!
Very bizarre though, always a small chance of the worst scenario, katrina pulled that off too.

How good is You Tube quality. Not sure I want that in my library.
Actually, if you use the official music videos (if available) and choose the high quality option on the converter sites, the quality is perfect.

I've had no problem with the TDK 2x media in the 104 and 105 superdrives. Also, the Apple 2x and 4x media work as advertised.

Hey guys,
I'm new to the Mac forum but I had a couple of them when I was younger (LC580 & Performa 6116CD). Anyway my Mac Mini is coming in a few weeks and I need to get a keyboard that matches it. I REALLY like the Apple keyboard (http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=305061&pfp=BROWSE) but I won't be able to stand the one button mouse that goes with it. I'm also considering this (http://www.kensington.com/html/6388.html) but i've never seen it in person so i'm not sure. This (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=25445&item=5155368258&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW) is nice and would go with the Apple keyboard but i'm not so sure about the build quality. Can you guys give me some suggestions on what I should do? Looks are everything to me, also no wireless devices please.

Wow, where the hell did this come from?
Sounds cool.
Also sounds like AT&T is shaking in their boots about the possibility of the iPhone going on Verizon and whipping out the big(ger) guns.
its u-verse. it has nothing to do with mobile carries

I hadn't seen max_altitude's initially, thanks for the link. That is indeed a cool one, but Lacero's 3D masterpiece is the clear winner in my books. Obviously all the others are great as well, (everyone is far more talented than I, that's for sure!), but that one is simply impressive. :cool:I don't know, I would have had a hard time deciding between the two, and depending on the mood it could have gone either way (and it might very well be the "Warhol" that would have gotten my vote ;)). But with the other one not in the finals, the pure simplistic genius of Lacero's embossing is a clear winner... :)

My vote is the single 23". However for the most bang for the buck, it would seem the dual setup would be better for you.

My iBook, purchased new in June, is my first Apple computer. Since OS X has a FreeBSD userland I can cope with parts of it, but what I cannot figure out is how to calm all the white and white-with-grey-striped real estate down in Aqua. I would like these to be a light blue-gray, in keeping with every other desktop I have ever used, but not even very many themes control this.
What do I do to simply colorize these big white spaces slightly? The stripes are irritating, and I would like to get rid of those, but all that white space is just glare-y.
TIA

If it is any consolation to those who don't have an Apple store, I live in Melbourne where we have two (and an other one coming soon?) and I've never been there.
There are Apple specialists all over the place - they're just as good, just no fancy interiors.

even faster photoshop performance I could get
a fast firewire drive and use it as the photoshop

So I jailbreak my 3G touch with greenpois0n RC4 (running 4.1).
Cydia breaks on me about a thousand times (hyperbole, but it sure felt like 1000 times...), and my apps stuff up mid-operation, making me have to put my iPod into DFU mode and back again everytime.
I restore it (then downgrade), and jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.6rc8... so far, there's been no trouble.
Does that mean that newer versions of jailbreaking apps provide you with a different version of Cydia, or does the efficiency of the app fade over time? (The first time I used greenpois0n on my 4G touch, there were no ill-effects).
