Letting Android users access the iTunes music store would actually be a very good idea for Apple.
If that happens I will be amazed. Android is so fragmented and un-secure, Apple would not release anything related to it. Im not saying that I wouldn't welcome iTunes for Android but I just cant see it ever happening.

Are you fingers are all broken? Most modern Mac keyboards have System Volume keys on kets F10 (mute), F11 (Volume down) & F12 (Volume up). Why not use your fingers?
Plus I use Audio Hijack Pro (http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/11067/audio-hijack-pro) to control many system sounds (and record any system sound).
No, my finders aren't broken. When you use the F10,11&12 keys, the volume bar comes up on the screen. I want more resolution (hence a bigger volume bar). So i can listen to music quieter (or have more resolution at quieter levels).
Also, i don't want to change the system sounds, just control each windows volume separately, but this is not the main question.
Thanks anyway.

There is money to be made by designing and marketing above average apps. It's not just about coding. There are several 100,000 other apps in the App store competing for visibility and customers. You've got to rise above most of them to make any money.
If you want to play around and potentially make money, play around with coding stuff that no one else is doing, or almost no one else can do or knows about to do, and create stuff that will delight customers (those are Apple's words) when they run across your marketing activities and press releases.
I started by playing around making apps for myself first, until I ended up making stuff that I thought potential customers might find unique and interesting.

Thanks guys. I am planning on opening it up but I'm not sure how to. I'm guessing I can find something about that by doing some searching.
I'll let you know what I find.

I wrote an itunes-themed site about a year ago (www.jpanetta.tk (http://homepage.mac.com/jpanetta/home.html)) and it has worked OKAY ever since. Until I switched to my laptop and installed Safari 1.3, that is. For some reason, none of the javascript that handles selecting links appears to work anymore. Now, the laptop isn't technically supported by Mac OS X, so that could be an issue. I know the site works in Internet Explorer (shudder) on PC and Mac, so I have no clue what could be wrong here. Does anybody else have trouble?
I've started on a new, php site with the same basic (but optimized and tiger-esque this time!) design. The in-construction version can be found here (http://venus.mediacatch.com/~jpanetta/jpanetta.tk), and it uses the same javascript code with the same weird error.
Help!!! :)

I was expecting the trackpad to somehow destroy them all at the end. That would be more like Apple, with their tendency to obliterate old technology. Instead everyone frolicked happily together in a peaceful coalescence, all warm and fuzzy.

I bought OS Xserver Snow Leopard 10.6 that came package with a Mac Mini. I attempted to install that version of Xserver Snow Leopard 10.6 on a dual 3.0ghz intel Xserve. It will not install on this Xserve. I keep getting a message which says, " Mac OS can't be installed on this computer". I erased the one internal drive in my Xserve. I formatted that drive with Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Is the OS Xserver that comes package with the Mac Mini server the same as the RETAIL version of OS Snow Leopard Xserver? Is there something that I am not aware of which is keeping the Mac Mini version of OS Xserver Snow Leopard from installing?

I saw that file, but can't see it in the final document.
Are the drop shadows elements of a CSS style, or of an image?
Sorry, I am absolutely clueless (but eagerly learning) this stuff.
The shadows are part of your background image on the main content area. There are some provisions for drop shadows in CSS but not enough browsers support them to really use them.

If you want to do her a favor, you could check her iTMS settings and de-authorize the computer before re-formatting.
That's good news, and I'll proceed w/ the reinstall. Guess I should also figure out what iTMS settings are before I get started.
(Did I double-post something?)

They used a sample from the song "What Am I Going To Do" by The Dovers. This single makes me extremely excited for his new album. I haven't ever really gotten into Deerhunter or Atlas Sound, but this single just might be good enough for me to try out both artists again.
Definitely looks like the album should be good based on that track.....i haven't got into Atlas Sound either, but i really like some of the Deerhunter stuff (Never Stops, Nothing Ever Happened, Saved By Old Times, Dr. Glass, couple others)
